What To Expect

Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid)
Jama mosque is an old and an impressive mosque of India. It is built with red sandstone and white marble during the reign of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan from 1650 to 1656.
This is the largest mosque of India. the main prayer hall is provided with 11 arch and beautiful Arabic inscription panel add to its beautification. This mosque has three domes and two bay depth prayer hall which has a courtyard of about 99 meter square to provide the space for about 25000 people at one time. The use of different stones provided with a pillared corridor to look around the old city and bazaars of Chandni chowk amaze the visitors and expand their experience.

The Local market and many different types of shops that surround the Jama Mosque is popularly known as Chandni chowk or old Delhi Bazzars attract the attention of visitors.

Chandni Chowk
The old bazaar of Chandni chowk through the narrow streets you can enjoy a Tuk-Tuk or Rickshaw ride here to explore major streets to learn about the local and traditional ethnic markets and the people around here.
This was the area mostly used by the courtiers and traders during the Mughal period. The Chandni Chowk area is surrounding the Jama Masjid and going deep backside with many narrow streets, pathways, shops of cloths, garment, jewelry, shoes, spices and many more. This is always a congested market area.
By sitting on a rickshaw one can safely see the numerous activities of the market in a little crazy way, and continuously listening the music of vehicles sounds and horn blows which create alarm of alertness for all, can make you a little hasty, thrilling and annoying sometimes.
You may get the chance to see monkeys, cows and bullock carts among the local people on the streets.

Red Fort
The symbolic Red fort is a massive citadel built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1648 as a part of his capital city of Shahjahan-Abad is located on the eastern side of the old Delhi with its high red sand stone ramparts.
The original name of this fort was Quila-e-Maula but later it became popular as Red Fort because of its Red sandstone color. The fort reminds the history of Great Mughals and the changes which occurred until the independence of India.

India Gate

The President house of India is commonly known as Rahtrapati Bhawan is located in New Delhi and in close proximity of India gate. The republic day celebration is celebrated on the famous Kartavya path primarily known as Rajpath that connect the Rashtrapati Bhawan to India Gate.
There are many other official buildings near the President House. This is a massive building built as the part of new capital of India during the colonial period in 1931. This beautiful building is built with red and pink sandstone and baked bricks where the iron and steel were not used. The architecture defines the mix character of Indo-Islamic and British architectural style.
The Rashtrapati Bhawan is a official residence of the President of India. It is a powerful seat of the political administration of the biggest Democratic Republic government of India.

Birla Mandir Temple (Lakshmi Narayan)
Its a beautiful Hindu temple of Delhi. The temple of Lakshmi Narayan with many different manifestation of Hindu culture and other details to learn about the Hinduism. Popularly known as Birla temple as the contribution to built this temple has been done mostly by the Birla family and inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi.

Humayun's Tomb
