At night, Barcelona turns on the spotlights for a brilliant show of architectural sightseeing. Feel the magic of the architectural masterpieces and experience the passion of the true mediterranean lifestyle. You will see many UNESCO World Heritage sites, like Sagrada Familia, Casa Milà or Casa Batlló, with the opportunity to stop off and take pictures.

The driving is safe and slow paced. During the ride, your guide will explain the landmarks and you will be able to ask questions via wireless communication devices in your helmets.

Magic in the Nights of Barcelona

I read a review of the Sidecar tours which recommended them as a great way to end a day in Barcelona I immediately booked them for our last evening in Barcelona. I accidentally booked them for the wrong date but they were willing to rebook them to accommodate our needs. Their office’s positive approach was refreshing and very impressive.
Two sidecar motorcycles rolled up to our hotel door on time. We are all couples in our seventies so we looked at this adventure with a bit of trepidation. Our concerns were immediately allayed by our two guides Joe and Pau who asked us what we had seen in the city. They mapped out an itinerary which included new sites the beach area, the Olympic Park, and the Montjuic area that we had not seen.
With the itinerary established they fitted us with helmets and a safety briefing we boarded the World War II era Russian motorcycles with BMW engines. The men sat on the backs of the bikes while the women laughingly entered the side cars.
Our concerns immediately vanished as we participated in a running commentary through our helmet speakers and microphones. We learned the history and background of each of the areas we visited. Pau and Joe were particularly proud of stopping in locations with wow factors. They took group and individual photos as we requested. Many of our pictures were outstanding.
Both Joe and Pau were extremely knowledgeable and willing to share about their experiences in Cataluña. Pau was a proud Catalonian who was very proud of his region. We were able to get a clearer picture of the Catalonian issues with Spain.
This was an almost magical experience and a great way to end our visit to Barcelona.

Exciting way to see Barcelona! Some weather issues but BrightSide rearranged and made everything work for us. Gerardo and Pau were fantastic guides. Give this a go!
