Overview

You will experience being Gaudí for 8 hours. After a brief presentation of the technique of Antonio Gaudí, el Trencadís, you will learn how to handle the tools and how to create your mosaic artwork in Gaudis mosaic style:" el Trencadis". You can decorate a mirror, trial or free design of a square (for example the Sagrada Familia). The bases of the decoration objects are wood. The “Gaudí Experience” will be an unforgettable, special and unique reminder of Gaudí’s Barcelona. The participants of this workshop will experience the Gaudi spirit in a relaxed atmosphere and will be tutored by one of our artesan masters.
You can do a break after 4 hours and come back and do the other 4 hours. You can take your mosaic artwork with you after you finished your artwork with grout.

Great activity with a very professional teacher

I booked an extensive Mosaic workshop with Angelika and just loved the activity. I decided to work on my company logo and the result was really amazing. Angelika explained to me the basics as well as some very interesting facts about architects like Gaudí who used this technique a lot on his work. She also guided me throughout the progress of my work with best practices on how to cut tiles, which pieces best to use where and helped me with the grouting to finish off my piece of art. As I spent some significant time in her workshop it was also great to get to know her and her staff better. It was a lot of fun!
