Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid)

Shah Jahan’s last architectural extravagance, the Jama Masjid towers over Old Delhi and is India’s largest mosque. Jama Masjid rivals the grandeur of the neighboring Red Fort in its scale and beauty. The aesthetic use of white marble and red sandstone, it is easily one of the prettiest Mughal-era mosques in India. The whole structure exudes peace and harmony.
