The chef will buy some of the fresh ingredients needed to produce an authentic paella de marisco, or seafood paella, and Spain's classic rice dish, while detailing the delicacies on offer, notably the fish, and the basics of Spanish and Catalan cuisine.
Walkthrough the twisting streets of La Ciutat Vella, or old town, with the chef to El Born, the city's most elegant area.

The chef instructor was good.
There was a holiday that day and so we were not able to do the market food shopping.

I must admit we thoroughly enjoyed both the cooking and city tour experience.
Our tour guide Laura was a great teacher and he knew a lot about paella. We walked through the market and bought fresh ingredients and then walked to the kitchen.

It was a fun experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a hands on experience. We made paella as a group, learned to make Sangria, had tapas and met some great people.
