What To Expect

National Gallery of Modern Art
Our representative will pick up from the hotel/residence and will proceed to the first destination: THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF MODERN ART. This building was a former residential palace of the Maharaja of Jaipur hence, it is known as the Jaipur House. It was established as a museum on March 29th 1954, by the government of India. The gallery acquires preserves and displays the works of modern art from the mid 19th century onward. It has a wonderful collection of around 15000 paintings, sculptors and works of art by Indian as well as international artists. It also has a huge library for reference of books.

Crafts Museum
The second destination is CRAFTS MUSEUM, this museum holds a core collection of crafts such as tee tribal art, folk art and textiles.0ther collection comprises of bronze images, lamps and incense burners and utensils, wooden and stone carvings, terracotta, cane and bamboo work from different regions of India. One can also buy souvenirs from the crafts museum shop, as the main objective of it is to sell original creations of the finest Indian craftsmen.

The final destination is THE NATIONAL MUSEUM. It is the biggest museum of India which holds variety of articles ranging from pre-historic era to the modern work of art. The collection covers archaeology, arms, armor, decorative arts, manuscripts and paintings. The main attractions of this museum are the film shows based on the Indian heritage.
